Nice park to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. Nice scenery, statues, trees, flowers and water birds that seem friendly.

Two weddings were happening on the Saturday we visited. It is idyllic and always looking it's best. The roses are spectacular and water features punctuate the sweeping grasses. A beautifully tranquil experience at the edge of a capital city.
Spring (Sept–Nov): peak rose bloom. Summer: wear sunscreen and carry water. Autumn: quieter paths and mild light. Winter: bring a jacket for evening strolls.
