How Baby-Friendly is Saint Francis Xavier's Cathedral?

42%Baby-Friendly
View Map

What makes it 42% Baby-Friendly: Prams fit the aisles and an accessible toilet may have a fold-down change table, yet hard echoing stone, lack of nursing room and need for silence can make more than a brief visit tiring for carers.

Google
Reviews4.8/ 5
(from 996 reviews)

Positives:

  • Quiet Atmosphere: Low visitor numbers off-peak make it easy to move with a pram without crowds.
  • Central Location: Located on Victoria Square, it’s steps from public transport and cafes.

Challenges:

  • Limited On-site Facilities: No dedicated nursing room or pram parking inside the building.
  • Need for Quiet: Hard floors amplify noise; a crying baby can disturb others.

We dropped by this church which is near Victoria Square. The place is large and historic dating back to 1851. It's a peaceful and calming place. The stained glass was beautiful.
