Its a street full of people drinking, very crowded and noisy. Some of the bar staff are a bit OTT when trying to attract you into their establishments. Worth going at least once.

Nice place to visit, there are so many bars you can choose depends on your preferences. Some places were loud and some are can nicely talking. The alley was so crowded with people. But it such an experience.

We had a fun visit to Ta Hien Beer Street in Hanoi last night. This narrow street is full of life — neon lights, colorful signs, tiny plastic stools, music, crowds and a constant flow of people. It’s funky, lively, chaotic and absolutely packed with energy. Vendors can be a bit pushy, but in a friendly way that feels completely typical for Hanoi, never aggressive or unpleasant. Around 6 p.m. there were plenty of empty seats, but by 7 p.m. the place was already full. Many places try to get your attention, but they don’t pressure you since the seats fill up so quickly anyway. Overall, the prices are reasonable no matter where you go. It’s a good spot to have a dish or two with a beer, stroll through the nearby night market, and then come back for another drink.

Super lively place for nightlife, food and souvenirs. If you like big crowds, loud music, beer and cocktails, definitely go. It gets crowded with locals and tourists and beware that bar workers can be very pushy and direct to try and get you to go to their place. Definitely worth checking out!
Visit from November to April for cooler, dry evenings. Carry a small umbrella during June–September monsoon showers.
