Residence Inn Seattle Downtown/Lake Union (solo trip)

We stay here all of the time for extended periods for work. The staff used to give a very home-y feel to it. Alot of new staff now but it's still good. The cleaning staff are some of the nicest. The grills outside are a nice perk. The breakfast needs HELP! It's got the be the worst collection of pan boil/ roasted breakfast meats! Just browning them a little bit would make them so much better. Gray...

Communication at the Residence Inn Lake Union between staff as well as customers is terrible. We had a hard time getting checked in, first our room was double booked so they upgraded our room (that was great) but getting into the room was a struggle. Being told our room would be available around noon, we toured the city coming back thinking we would get into the room. The room was not ready so ...

Can't complain when you get an upgrade with a balcony for being over booked!! This spot has been nice for a view and for a good sleep. The beds are comfortable and the employees have been extremely helpful. Only thing that could make it better is IF they had some snacks free always available and stocked up the coffee 24/7 with quality creamers.

Enjoyable stay for quick family vacation. King suite was large size to accommodate our family, kitchen was a bonus. As others mentioned, hotel is dated. Couch bed was not too comfortable. Bathroom very basic and lacked a fan. The breakfast is OK, but they were out of several items like bacon and potatoes at 8:10 (breakfast 6-9). This hotel is a great mid-range option for families visiting Seattle. We stayed three nights with our family of four (with two teens) in a two-bedroom suite. Both bedrooms had plenty of space and the common room in the center was perfect for hanging out and giving everyone a little extra room. The balcony was very small but comfortable for morning coffee.
