I can’t begin to explain what a magical hotel this is. First time staying here and the entire place transports you back into time but with upgraded amenities. The hotel is beautifully vintage and kept up so well. It’s clean, quiet, and so incredibly comfortable. The beds were amazing, the room was in perfect condition and I never felt in need of anything! We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Sorrento. The rooms were clean and spacious. The food was delicious with a variety of options. In general, the staff exhibited friendliness and attentiveness. I only once felt mistreated by a staff member, which could have been due to my skin color or simply because she was having a bad day. Excellent experience! The staff was extremely helpful. This hotel does not have central A/C but we had a floor unit that did the job. The street noise was somewhat significant, so we asked for a floor fan and that helped a lot. Nice location with a little convenience store nearby. Also, Seattle is hilly! Stayed here for a wedding this weekend, outstanding! The rooms were nice and spacious, beds are extremely comfortable and the staff was above and beyond. We had a small issue with electricity in our room, but to be expected with a 115 year old hotel (and the electrician fixed it within 5 minutes).
