Positives:

  • Stroller-friendly paths: Flat, paved sidewalks across campus make it easy to push a stroller from one highlight to the next.
  • Free baby facilities: Use lactation rooms in Burke Museum and changing tables in the HUB without charge.

Challenges:

  • Large campus area: The spread-out layout means more walking; plan shorter loops to avoid tiring your baby.
  • Quiet zones etiquette: Libraries and galleries require low noise; if your baby fusses, head outdoors or to a café.

This is a great place to get random items for the office, classrooms, and even your house. Prices are excellent. All items are used from the University of Washington school system. I go every Tuesday during the summer to get supplies for my classroom and house. Items range from office furniture to office supplies to toys and everything in between. New items are added every week. The selectio...

The University boasts an impressive (and large) campus. The buildings are well maintained, and the campus is very clean and pleasant. There are many communal areas, and plenty of different study spaces. Overall great learning environment.
