InterContinental San Francisco (couple trip)

This is a great place with great people. But a 5 star? Its tops of the 4 stars which means I had to give a 5 star we need a new standard of 5 star and 5 stars. JW Marriott top floor bedroom suite is 5 star/s so relative place and time. I'd stay there again. Safe, walk 16 minutes to the bay and never felt unsafe.

Service was great. Rooms seemed a bit dated compared to the other 5 star hotels I stay at. Bathroom could use an update. Especially shower. Hot water fluctuated. Lobby area was a bit smaller to entertain and relax. We choose to go out. But becareful walking some blocks as homeless population is high. Don't walk by tenderloin. Hotel showed us how to use waymo self driving car and got a discount

Classy, cozy and spotless. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Nestled in downtown SFO with a convenient location to the airport and everything else around. What makes the Intercontinental San Francisco so special is the charming, kind, courteous, and humble staff with a always a special smile that says hello, you welcome, and how can I help you. A truly memorable stay at home away from home!

This is a solid, no-frills hotel. Nothing fancy, but absolutely reliable. The real standout here was the staff and the location. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely helpful and kind. I had a question about getting hot water and they actually delivered a kettle to my room, which was awesome. A thoroughly classy modern space, frictionless and efficient and a bit sophisticated. I did not find it particularly memorable as a place, but it offers all of the amenities one could possibly want from an upscale chain hotel, and the conference I attended here was well served by such a space.
