Upon checking in at 9pm we were informed that the hotel does not have a functioning elevator and the lowest floor available was the 6th floor. The staff graciously assisted with our luggage but we still had to hike to the 6th floor multiple times per day for several days.. even to get ice on the first floor. Had a really nice week in the Hotel Julian. The room was pleasant and quiet (we were on the courtyard side). The bathroom was modern and the bed was comfortable.
