Hampton Inn Niagara Falls (solo trip)

Have had good luck with Hamptons in the past. This location is apparently not held to the same standards. There was hair everywhere in the room. All over the sink, the towels, and the bed. I don't expect "operating room sterile" levels of clean, but I would expect the housekeepers to take 30 seconds with a lint roller across the bed to remove the hairs. Good location. Very silent and peaceful surrounding. Ample parking. Very clean rooms. Not very spacious for a 2 queen bed room. Has coffee brewing machine, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was OK. Chicken sausage was good. But the Oatmeal was too dry. Good options of scrambled egg, omelette , variety of breads, waffle, small packaged cereals and loads of coffee. Laundry room available but not free....

Great overall experience! We stayed in Room 114 on the first floor, and would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a clean, comfortable stay with a few caveats in exchange for saving a few bucks. Location is prime, just a few minutes from Niagara Falls. Nice, clean rooms. Breakfast was good with eggs, omelettes, sliced smoked sausage. Regular and strawberry waffles and. An abundance of toppings. BEAWARE-taxes and fees are high here. Room rate was $130 and after taxes and fees it was a whopping $246.

The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable — no complaints there. The bed was cozy, and the housekeeping staff did a great job maintaining the space during our stay. The location is also convenient, just a short walk from Niagara Falls and other main attractions.
