What makes it 47% Baby-Friendly: Stroller-wide aisles and a <30 min weekday Mass suit a baby’s schedule, yet restrooms list no changing table and no nursing room, so carers must plan breaks or exit quickly.
Note: St. Mary of the Cataract is 47% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Niagara Falls for a more suitable experience.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows for a quick visit or brief Mass before baby’s nap time.
Explore the Main Nave:
Visit on weekday mornings between 8 and 11 a.m. when it is spacious and quiet for stroller movement.
Tip: Aim for 8–9 a.m. to avoid other visitors and have room for the stroller.
Attend Midweek Noon Mass:
Join the 12:10 p.m. Mass Monday–Friday which lasts under 30 minutes.
Tip: Arrive 5 minutes early and sit near the exit to leave quietly before nap time.
Arrange Baby Facility Access:
Call the parish office to request a private space or access to the parish hall for changing or nursing.
Tip: Contact (716) 282-0059 ahead of your visit to confirm availability.

Beautiful church. It’s the first building in Niagara Falls!! Left side is communion delivered by The Father

Went in for Sunday Mass during our Niagara trip. Very quiet and beautiful church. Church waa open in between masses, so we were able to do our morning prayer and rosaries in silence before mass.

Weekday walk along the church compound since it was not open.

A must-visit while in Niagara. Pull a bulletin off their website & attend a Mass, devotion, or activity. Wonderfully warm community that practices devout reverence with mercy & love. A true gem!

1st time visit on Good Friday, what a very solemn place, beautiful church. There was a very sweet, old lady who opened the door for us, told us about services and welcomed us.
From late spring to early fall, visit the Rectory Peace Garden next to the church. Bring a stroller or blanket and relax by the fountain after Mass.
