What makes it 75% Baby-Friendly: Smooth trails and shady lawns suit strollers and blanket time, but diaper tables are unconfirmed and concerts or boats can be noisy, so parents should plan breaks and supplies.
Why 3–4 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a relaxed stroll, picnic breaks, and attending a select outdoor concert without tiring the baby.
Stroller-Friendly Riverside Walk:
Follow the flat, paved trail along the Niagara River.
Tip: Bring a sunshade for the stroller and plan breaks on riverside benches.
Quiet Picnic Spot by the Water:
Spread a blanket or use a picnic table in shaded grass areas.
Tip: Pack your own baby-friendly snacks and choose a spot near a bench for quick rests.
Bench-Side Bottle-Feeding or Nap Break:
Use one of the many benches along the riverwalk.
Tip: Time your stroll around your baby’s feeding and nap schedule for smooth breaks.
Bandshell Concert (Select Evenings):
Attend free, family-friendly performances at the Ronald J. Pilozzi Bandshell.
Tip: Check the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra schedule and bring a soft mat for your baby.
Pavilion Rental for Private Care:
Reserve the riverside pavilion with restrooms and kitchen.
Tip: Call Tonawanda Parks & Recreation early to book a private space for nursing or diaper changes.

This park is such a gem. The water view made everything feel calm and refreshing. It is so peaceful just taking it all in—from watching the seagulls, to seeing the sweet older couple enjoying the view together, dogs happily walking alongside their owners. The whole atmosphere feels light, warm, and welcoming. A perfect spot to slow down and just enjoy life’s simple moments.

My partner and I love this park! The biking path and walking path are spacious. There is plenty of free parking. Its a wonderful place to take an evening walk and watch the boats go by on the water. If you own small boat they do have a launch site. The ice cream shop across the street is a wonderful touch on a summer day and this location is great for picnics.

Beautiful park by the river with chairs to sit on and a trail running along it. The breezes during the summer keeps you nice and cool. But it can be a bit windy anytime it's not summer so dress smartly.

I love it here! It's so beautiful and pretty. Very peaceful! Some pictures I took in 2023 but wanted to add them. :-)

Serene place to have a peaceful walk. The water is very clean. Angling is permitted with a license. Clean restrooms available. Can walk your dog here as well provided you bring a leash. The water is very clean. Storks and other birds can be spotted. Plenty of parking space also available. Would definitely visit again
Summer restrooms open from Memorial Day through fall. Spring trails can be muddy—bring wipes for wheels. Fall foliage adds color. Winter paths may ice over—wear sturdy shoes and bundle up.
