What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Wide ADA paths and benches suit strollers, but no confirmed changing tables or nursing room and some loud motion effects mean caregivers must bring supplies and limit time in certain areas.
Why 1–2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time to explore exhibits at a relaxed pace and take breaks with your baby.
Observation Deck:
Take the elevator to the top-level deck for sweeping views of the Niagara River gorge.
Tip: Use the smooth ramp with stroller and visit mid-morning for soft light.
Interactive Exhibits (Watching):
Stand back with your baby to watch colorful lights and moving parts at hands-on stations.
Tip: Let older visitors interact one at a time while you hold baby in the shaded seating nearby.
Community Room & Outdoor Terrace:
Use the free indoor community room or outdoor benches to rest, feed, or change your baby.
Tip: Bring a portable changing pad and grab a table on the terrace for fresh air.

We stopped to see what they had to offer. Entry was free and it wasn’t busy at all. Lots of info about the facility and how it was built. There was also many hands on experiences related to the history of electric power and how it functions. I’m guessing that it must get used for school field trips. They also have a deck area with a nice view of the Niagara and the power vista on both the USA and ...

Great place for kids to spent time learning about power generation and electricity in general. The views are also amazing from here. This build on top of real power plant so we can see the hydro electric dam infrastructure. There are some nice exhibits and movie. Lot of parking and entry is free.

We visited this place on our vacation in August and it’s a really nice place to visit. They have many hands on exhibits that adults and children would have fun interacting with. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is also an outside balcony that you can walk around and see the Canada Power House and USA Power House plus the Niagara River.

Lots of hands on learning activities, a 10-minute movie about the project, and even a 'ride' where you feel the moving water and air as you move through them. Plus there are literally some great vistas to view from at...
