What makes it 65% Baby-Friendly: Stroller-friendly paths, grassy picnic spots, and nearby restrooms help caregivers, but changing tables, indoor shade, and dedicated nursing rooms are unconfirmed, so extra gear and fair weather are needed.
Why 1–2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Time to stroll the Riverwalk, feed or nap your baby, and relax without tiring little ones.
Stroller Trail Walk:
Push the stroller along the level, paved 1.2-mile Riverwalk path by the Niagara River.
Tip: Start at the park entrance to avoid crowded parking areas.
Riverside Feeding & Nap:
Lay a blanket on the grassy riverbank for bottle feeding or a short nap in fresh air.
Tip: Choose a spot near the water for gentle river breezes and soothing sounds.
Bench Time by the Water:
Use riverside benches to rock or feed your baby while watching passing boats.
Tip: Arrive early for a bench with full shade in summer months.
Gentle Bird Watching:
Point out ducks, geese and other waterfowl from a safe distance.
Tip: Bring soft rattles or colorful toys to keep your baby engaged.
Gazebo Shade Break:
Rent the open-air gazebo for sun or light-rain cover ($120 per day, May–Oct).
Tip: Reserve at least two weeks in advance by calling Erie County Parks.

Love Isle View Park. I've been coming here for 40 years. The view is beautiful and there is a lovely, safe path to walk, skate or ride a bicycle on. The park is clean and has several restaurants nearby. I have walked here year round. It really relaxes me visiting Isle View and Niawanda Parks.

Isle View Park is situated right along the Niagara River on the path of the original Erie Canal. It has plenty of amenities, and benches and picnic tables are scattered along the bike/walking path, making it easy to relax when you feel like it. It's always clean, though the abundance of parking near the water means that people can block the bike/walking path, especially as one gets closer to Tona...

This park is not taken care of : Docks are broken, bathroom buildings are run down as well as worn picnic tables, over grown grass and empty concession stands. Stick to Isle view and other parks along the river .

First impression-very clean park. The planted flowers aren't making it, but the wild flowers are gorgeous. The rocks in the water are also very pretty, and the waves are strong. Only down side of it is that there are so many moths around. Many benches around for those that always need breaks, and also bicycle lanes.
May–Oct: gazebos available; bring sunhat and sunscreen. Nov–Apr: dress warmly and watch for icy patches on the trail.
