What makes it 79% Baby-Friendly: Wide stroller paths, shade, benches and splash pad suit infants, yet no confirmed diaper tables or nursing room means parents need a portable mat and private spot, lowering overall ease.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Long enough to stroll paths, picnic, and let baby enjoy playground and spray park without rushing.
Lake & Rose Garden Stroll:
Walk paved paths around the lake and through the rose garden, ideal for strollers.
Tip: Use benches along the route to rest and feed the baby.
Spray Park & Playground:
Let your baby splash at the zero-depth spray pad and explore the toddler-friendly playground.
Tip: Bring towels, swim diapers, and a change of clothes.
Shaded Picnic Spot:
Enjoy snacks under canopy trees near the playground on picnic tables or blankets.
Tip: Reserve a pavilion in advance by calling the park office for shade and seating.
Restroom & Changing Prep:
ADA restroom facilities are stroller-accessible but may lack changing tables.
Tip: Pack a portable changing mat and wipes to ensure a clean diaper change.

I take my grandkids here to play soccer. The staff is very friendly. They give away free sports equipments with their program to pay it forward. My granddaughter got cleats and socks. It really came in handy and I'm thankful for that. Other sport programs should do the same. Sports equipments are very expensive and hits hard in the pockets. I have to go thrift hunting to get equipments.

In spring (May–June), catch peak rose blooms. In summer, visit the spray park early to avoid midday heat. In fall, enjoy colorful foliage along paths. In winter, carry your baby into the Ice Pavilion for photos—call ahead for stroller policy and hours.
