I gave up amenities in favor of location. I stayed in this hotel two times. They could use some renovation, especially the showers. Larger towels would really be nice to have. I stayed here one night recently and had several issues, none of which were addressed or resolved by the property. The first thing I noticed was that the fee to park a car was $85 by valet, or $55 to self park. I rated the rooms low because of the elevators. They were unbelievably slow and only one of two even worked. From the ground floor you could be waiting a good 3 minutes for an elevator and there are only six floors. Also, our room card kept deactivating. It is a good value for the area-within walking distance to Tribeca, Soho, West Village and Battery Park area.
