What makes it 84% Kids-Friendly: Kids up to 12 thrill at the Sky Portal floor and gesture screens, under-5s enter free, and changing tables help parents, but rapid-rise ear pressure and mandatory stroller folding cut convenience.

Positives:

  • Kid-Friendly Facilities: Restrooms on each floor have changing tables and low sinks for kids.
  • Free Entry for Youngest: Children 5 and under enter free with a reserved ticket.

Challenges:

  • Security Screening: Allow extra 15 minutes for bag checks and metal detectors at the entrance.
  • Crowded Viewing Deck: Peak hours can feel busy; move quickly between exhibits to avoid bottlenecks.

My first impression was - why is it so empty? This observation deck is the highest in the city but doesn't seem to attract as many visitors as it used to. You can see some signs of wear and tear but nevertheless it is worth going up and see the City from above.

Fantastic views, it’s indoors so also nice when it’s cold outside. Recommend coming in about 45 mins before the sunset and staying until the dark to catch both day and night time views. Gift shop expensive. You have to go through a “sales pitch” before you enter where they convince you to get a digital guide to the buildings, which felt a bit salesy.

I went in the afternoon after lunch time around 2 pm and just get the ticket from the Kiosk on arrival. I think the online price is better at $39 pp instead of $50 pp on site. I love the video story of the building in the lift and the New York city introduction video before you enter the observatory deck! It was so well made, the reveal was fantastic! Absolutely beautiful city view from the floor ...

I recently visited One World Observatory in NYC and it was an unforgettable experience. The elevator ride itself was fascinating, showcasing the city’s history in seconds. Once at the top, the panoramic views were absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunset from this height was magical, as the golden light reflected off the skyscrapers and the city slowly lit up. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone...

Visiting One World Tower for the second time felt just like the first—breathtaking, unforgettable, and absolutely surreal. There’s something about being 100 floors above ground that resets your perspective every time. From the top, New York City unfolds in all its glory—its iconic skyline stretching endlessly, with glimpses of New Jersey adding to the grand panorama. No matter how many times you’...
