Bronx Zoo (couple trip)

Beautiful zoo! Very friendly staff. Animals seemed happy. First thing in the morning was a good time to go. Not crowded & easy to see everything. Very big zoo! Take a water bottle for sure. My children lived feeding the pretty little birds!

There's so much you can't see everything in a day, so prioritize the things which sound most interesting to your party, and make a route between them to make the most of the day. Animal exhibits close before the zoo itself does, also. This zoo is awesome! Be warned, there is A LOT of walking & not all the walking paths are wheel chair/stroller friendly. We went as a family of 5 with kids aging from 5 to 17. Everyone had a blast! I visited the Bronx Zoo on their free Wednesday and decided to upgrade for the special attractions — 100% worth it! The extra experiences really made the day.
