Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort (couple trip)

Meh... It's just like a holiday inn except you get to pay $40,000 to be in the club and then pay $300/ night to stay there. The main reasons I stay in a hotel is to get a good night's sleep. A good shower and be in a place where I can do what I need to do. The room seemed fairly quiet except for anytime somebody next door made a noise or somebody upstairs moved a chair or somebody outside walked...

The staff is great and there couldn't be a better location if you have tickets to a show in The Sphere. The staff was great, very helpful. The only issue I had with the room was a couple track doors that didn't open and close well. A minor thing - but one was the screen door to the balcony. Other than that, couldn't get much better. Oh, and no elevators. Almost forgot that. But I'm good with that...

This hotel is in a great location, very close to the strip and other funtivities. Beware, they tend to privilege their time share customers ahead of IHG elite members. As an owner? It was exciting to see another property. The resort used to be an apartment complex, and is laid out as such. The beds were comfortable and condos spacious. My only complaint is that check-in took a long time (as did waiting for our unit to be ready) and the kitchen lacked utensils/kitchen items. Otherwise? It suited our needs.

I chose IHG Vacation Club Las Vegas mainly for its value, and on that front, it delivered. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no resort fee, which felt like a win in Vegas. My 1-bedroom unit was spacious, clean, and well-kept, with a large closet and tub.
