Had a great overnight stay in the Hale Kilauea cabin. The view was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean. The fruit and breakfast provided also exceeded expectations. Very close to Volcano National Park and other small shops/food while still feeling like you're not surrounded by people. Would definitely stay here again.

This was my most disappointing stay anywhere in the USA. I tried to contact them after my stay and sent 10 emails as I like to resolve issues privately, but all their correspondence is automated and they did not respond. This is a beautiful hotel with a great location! The only thing I’d call out that needs improvement is the staff and the hospitality. Also important to note, even though most hotels give you a grace period of ~10 mins for checkout, here they won’t. They’ll charge you a $75 late checkout fee after 11am on the dot, so watch out for that!

We had a fabulous time on the island of Hawaii. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Volcano Village Lodge. The rooms were wonderful, surrounded by rainforest and a beautiful variety of plants and flowers. The nights were peaceful with the sounds of the birds in the forest. The location was perfect. Very close to the National Park. Staff were accommodating and helpful prior to and during our stay. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Would love to return someday!
