It is a little bit older hotel but nicely updated and clean. First time to Honolulu, so didn’t know what to expect. Found it to be easy to get to beach, eating spots and shopping. I had a great stay at the Coconut! :D The room had a fun view of Alai Way, and was within walking distance of the beach and all the fun shopping. The valet Robert was polite, quick, had great suggestions for the quickest way to get places. I would definitely use the Coconut again when I plan on returning.

We upgraded our room to an executive suite and it was worth it. Nice extra space to sit and have coffee in the morning. Bed was comfortable enough and really liked having the cold filtered water dispenser in the lobby. Pay the $40 for parking, we parked on Ala Wai Blvd and got towed because we didn’t see the towing sign. That’s on us.

Aloha! At this price point, Coconut can't be beat. Great value! I have stayed there 3 times so far & hope to stay again in 2026. It feels like home away from home.
