What makes it 45% Baby-Friendly: Kitchenette helps warm bottles but the lodge confirms no cribs, cots, high chairs, or rollaways; parents must bring own gear. Quiet rooms, garden walks, and nearby store for supplies slightly offset.

We loved staying here and the hot tub in the jungle was amazing. We even had the volcano glowing in the background one night. Great place with great hosts.

Room #6 is for the birds. Literally. Various birds were very vocal for much of the night. Also, there is a step down from where the bed is to where the kitchenette is. Super close to volcano national park! I had room #2 which had two beds. The TV is in a weird spot though (couldn’t see the screen from the big bed). More curtains for privacy would be a nice addition. The owner was nice and the room had everything I needed. Easy check-in. Quiet and cozy.

Pros: proximity to National Park The best coffee Owners seemed nice Cons: 'Continental breakfast' was just snacks Can't control the temperature Everything in the room is a little rundown Dollar store shampoo/soap Curtains didn't protect privacy of room Overall, I wish I had paid a little more for a hotel, or a little less for an Airbnb.

We stayed in Suite 6, the room was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the terrarium in the room! They provided us with an assortment of fresh fruits, snacks, and some breakfast options. The lodge is located in such a quiet and serene spot, and only minutes from the volcano national park. We enjoyed our stay so much and I absolutely recommend this place!
