What makes it 59% Baby-Friendly: Infants ride free on an adult’s lap and lifts accept folded strollers, but no diaper tables or nursing rooms onboard and sun-wind exposure mean frequent hop-offs and added care for babies.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to ride key lines, explore 2–3 stops, and allow baby breaks without rushing.
Ala Moana Center (Pink Line):
Wide, stroller-friendly aisles and baby-care rooms on Level 2.
Tip: Fold stroller before boarding; hop off for nursing in family restrooms.
Kapiolani Regional Park (Blue Line):
Spacious lawns under banyan trees with smooth paths for strollers.
Tip: Get off at the park stop for a shady picnic and baby nap on the grass.
Waikiki Aquarium (Blue Line):
Ramped entrance and free entry for children under 3.
Tip: Board at front door for easy ramp access and use quiet touch-tank area.
Trade winds keep the trolley breezy year-round. From November to March, bring a stroller rain cover for brief showers. In June to August, ride early or late to avoid strong midday sun.

We really enjoyed taking the Waikiki Trolleys!! The staff were awesome and so helpful and kind!! We found the trolleys a great way to get to know Honolulu on a deeper level and we found the trolleys went just far enough to all our fav places!!! Would highly recommend Waikiki Trolleys! The Hop on Hop off was very helpful too!!

Impatient and rude driver. We were having such a wonderful day until his "yelling" at us because he needed us to zoom in more on our tickets, without really explaining what he needed to see. He got upset at another group because they had identified an incorrect stop and had to change their minds. These are tourists - working in this business, he should know tourists meet sometimes get lost and not...

We took the blue line tour on March 14. It was a beautiful day and we saw a beautiful scenery. Our tour guide was Chico who was amusing and interesting. Gave us a lot of information about local custom, language, lore. Would recommend!

We enjoyed riding The Waikīkī Trolley Red Line and Blue Line. The Red Line was more inner city site seeing. The Blue Line was more rural site seeing. Both lines give the historic information as well as the social and cultural and tourist attractions. Both were great. I do recommend that you do the Red Line first and then the Blue Line. This way the tour goes from good to great, You are able to get...

My family and I took the blue line that went to Diamond Head and Blow Hole on Friday, June 26,2021. It’s the best and affordable way to tour some of the sites. The driver was very funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were able to stop by the Blow Hole and took pictures. It was breathtaking. I would definitely do the trolley next time and explore the Arts District.
