If you can go on a sunny day at low tide with little wind, you will have the best experience. The reason you arrive an hour early is to watch the movie before taking the boat to the memorial. The movie theater is in the same building where you line up for the boat.

Absolutely humbling experience, so many amazing facts, photos, information. Tour guides are next level amazing, such amazing knowledge and total patriotic love. Allow plenty of time, possibly 2 days to see it all and do it justice.

It's an incredibly moving experience that brings history to life in a way that books and films simply cannot. ...
