What makes it 72% Kids-Friendly: Kids under 14 enter free and hear a short children’s homily; vivid windows engage them, yet long silent tours, tight seating, and no stated play area mean active children may tire—confirm stroller and bathroom details.
Why 1–2 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows enough time for exterior audio tour, a brief interior visit, and optional organ recital without tiring kids.
Exterior Audio Tour:
Scan QR codes outside to hear kid-friendly stories about the church’s design and stained glass.
Tip: Bring a shared device and headphones; let each child listen to a section to keep them engaged.
Interior Self-Guided Tour:
Use the free map or audio guide to explore stained-glass windows and vintage organs at your own pace.
Tip: Pick up the child audio guide at the Welcome Center and focus on three highlights to avoid information overload.
Friday Organ Recital:
Enjoy a free 45-minute organ concert in the Sanctuary every Friday at 12:15 pm.
Tip: Sit near the side aisle to exit easily if children need a break; bring quiet snacks in case of restlessness.
Children’s Homily on Sundays:
Join the 5–10 minute homily for kids during the 10 am Eucharist.
Tip: Arrive 10 minutes early to find seating together and plan a quick nursery visit afterward if needed.

I only had the opportunity to view Trinity Church from the outside, but even that is enough to appreciate why it holds such an important place in American architectural history. It was great to see the beautiful architecture of the old church, inside and outside. The wood carvings were too beautiful to describe. It is not a quick trip. There is so much to see. Everywhere I looked was amazing 👏

Beautiful and over 100 years old. Father Jean I believe was his name gave us a little bit of information and welcomed us with a smile. He told us there’s bathrooms which we later used and also told us about the throne where Pope JP II sat when he visited the US for the first time and allowed us to seat on it and take pictures.

Beautiful church. Beautiful architecture. Came 10 minutes before closing for their last tour. You definitely don't need a lot of time to see everything if you're in a rush, however it's $10 to tour. Very cool visit.

I loved Trinity Church. It's a little gem. The outside is very gorgeous especially since the church is surrounded by modern skyscrapers. But it's the inside that it's breathtaking. The price to enter is $10 for adults. Worth it a visit.
Winter months have lighter crowds inside and a cozy atmosphere. Summer weekends at Copley Square get busy—visit early to avoid lines and heat.
