SpringHill Suites Austin South (with kids)

Really nice hotel for the price. Rooms are good size. Beds comfortable. Showers clean and hot. Included breakfast was pretty decent with good variety. Staff was efficient and friendly. Definitely a good value.

Front desk staff were rude, on the app my check in time said 9:30am but rudely told me that check in time wouldn't be until noon. We stayed for 3 nights and they didn't come into our room at all to refresh towels/toilet paper or take out the trash. The staff was nice, breakfast was fine and the pool looked fine and gym was very clean and smelled good, but the main reason to give this low rating was that THE SMELL of the rooms! I have now stayed at this location twice and both times I have enjoyed the spacious comfortable King bed suite with Trundle bed sofa. The desk is lit very well for working and the well thought positioning is far enough away from the air condioner so you won't freeze while you work. We had an exceptional stay here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shane was terrific and a joy to talk to. Our room was clean and fit our needs well. No complaints. Plenty of enjoyable breakfast options. Water pressure and temp was great. We are very pleased and will be staying here again when we are in Austin.
