I wasn’t sure about staying here so I visited the rooftop bar first. The staff = AMAZING! Special thanks to the bartenders, Irvin & Demetri. They really set the tone for me & their vibe convinced me to just go ahead and check in! I was able to hangout at the rooftop terrace for a few minutes before they closed it down. The rooms feel like dorms but the stay was pretty nice. The bartenders at hey dey social are phenomenal. Try the chicken tinga quesadillas, chefs kiss. And put demetri on the aux!!! Would've stayed longer, but the country music threw off the vibe

Had a good stay at the Hyatt in Austin. Rooms are very small, but clean. Front desk service was exceptional, very friendly and welcoming, and despite many homeless around the hotel, felt very safe. Valet staff were great but be aware you do need to be able to receive a text message to use the valet. Perfect location- very easy walk to 6th street without being right in the chaos of it all. We had a great stay and could not have asked for a better staff. The room was perfectly set up with great amenities and an awesome view. The location was awesome to walk to places throughout downtown Austin. The staff were extremely kind and the valet guys were great. Ben, Aaron, Stetson, Wyatt, and Tristen were hilarious and very professional. Would definitely come back.
