What makes it 75% Kids-Friendly: Family shows, motion-tracking LED wall, plaza space, and family restrooms suit children, yet loud audio and late schedules demand ear protection and careful event choice.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Arrive early to explore the plaza, visit the LED wall, and enjoy a family show without feeling rushed.
Pre-show Plaza Play:
Let kids run safely in the open-air Dell Technologies Plaza before doors open.
Tip: Arrive 60 minutes early to secure a spot near food trucks and let kids burn energy.
Interactive Community Wall:
Experience the motion-tracking LED wall on the main concourse.
Tip: Have kids stand close to the wall to see their movements transform into colorful visuals.
Family Shows:
Attend kid-friendly events like ice shows, Disney-style concerts, or magic acts.
Tip: Filter the event calendar for “Family Shows” and book 30–60 USD tickets in advance.
Ear Protection & Seating:
Protect young ears and ensure clear sight-lines.
Tip: Bring or buy foam earplugs (5–10 USD) and choose mezzanine or balcony seats for the best view.
Family Restrooms:
Use all-gender restrooms with extra space and changing tables on the main level.
Tip: Locate restrooms near Portals 5 and 9 for quicker breaks between the show.

A very beautiful arena. Getting there by Uber was mostly smooth, but walking back was actually more pleasant. Food and beverage prices are quite high, and the constant airflow from the air conditioning takes some getting used to. The staff were very friendly, entry was quick, and the acoustics were excellent.

Easy to find our seats. Friendly and very helpful staff. Seats are snug if you are plus size. Cashless venue but they have kiosk machines that let you insert cash for a debit card. Saw Kali Uchies here!! My view was amazing .

Been here several times to see different bands and comedians throughout the years. Place is very modern and well kept. Amazing atmosphere and the venue inside is great. Even up in the nose bleeders or in the upstairs vip area is also very relaxing especially with the outdoor patio overlooking Austin.

Such a great concert venue. Plenty of drink options with several food options as well. We paid for parking in MANOR garage and we're able to get in and out easily.

Definitely come early so you have time to get to your seat. This arena is huge. We were in section 216. It is very high up, so beware if you're afraid of heights. The audio was great. Lots of restrooms. There is like no parking. I would uber or what we did is stay at a hotel nearby and walk.
In summer, bring sun hats and water for plaza play. In winter, layer up for breezy evenings. Check the calendar for holiday ice shows and summer kids’ concerts.
