I will always take a plunge in Barton Springs pool when in the area. Cold but refreshing. South-side parking was challenging (-1 one star). Entrance fee is reasonable and easy peasy online ticket purchasing available. Nice crowd size in the pool.

This place was magnificent. It really was one of the highlights to my Austin adventure. It was comfortable and felt very safe. I will say the patrons were not as friendly as i would have expected but that is not the pools fault. The salamanders were soooo cute. I love it.

Whether you’re swimming laps or lounging under the trees, it’s always relaxing and peaceful. Surro...

But once we paid our entry fee and got beyond all the chaos, we discovered a pretty unique and beautiful treasure. A balance between natural spring and pool infrastructure - you can tell ...
