Positives:

  • Flexible Schedule: Self-guided packs let you explore at your own pace without a group.
  • Multiple Learning Formats: Choose between talks, hands-on biofacts, and VR for varied experiences.
  • Photo Opportunities: Keeper talks and open habitats provide chances for clear, solo shots.

Challenges:

  • Weather Exposure: Much of the zoo is outdoors; bring water and check the forecast.
  • Ticket Lines: Weekends can have lines; buy tickets online to skip the ticket window.
  • Limited Shade: Some paths have few shaded spots; plan breaks near covered exhibits.

I had a nice time at this zoo! Some animals were understandably off exhibit because of the cold, but the animals I did see were very well cared for with gorgeous exhibits. The educational staff at this zoo is top notch. Eric had tons of information to share about the elephants and did a great job sharing some cool facts with me! It’s obvious he is passionate about his role! The zoo offers reciproc...

Got to see animals very up close, which was really nice. The zoo is decent and well maintained, but it’s on the smaller side compared to other zoos. Still a good place to spend a few hours, especially if you want a relaxed visit without too much walking.

Great experience! The animals at least kodt of them seem pretty happy and all are beautiful and they have a good and large variety of different species as well as different animal variety, the park has bathrooms and has plenty of food options, a great option to take kids or even as a day trip for family however most of the food here here is just okay and the coffee is terrible not to mention the p...

A very cute and pleasant zoo. It takes about 2 hours to visit, which is perfect timing, especially with kids. We were especially happy to see a red panda — this is quite rare for zoos, and it was a real highlight of our visit. The animals look well cared for, and the entire area is clean and well maintained, with neat and comfortable walking paths. A special mention goes to the restrooms — warm ...

There was quite a bit of construction going on, however it did not prohibit my movement on the walkway. I saw the entire zoo within two hours. I must add that I was alone therefore I moved much faster than others who were with children, the elderly...
