Yotel Manchester Deansgate (solo trip)

I recently stayed at YOTEL Deansgate for a few nights while visiting Manchester. The location is definitely the highlight, right in the centre of everything, close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. It’s also easy to reach using the free city bus, which stops nearby and makes getting around super convenient. The hotel looks modern and has a lively, stylish atmosphere. My room was compact but...

Rooms are good size, could do with a slightly more thorough clean (sticky table top), if you are a light sleeper you will hear the pipework of neighboring room. Service, can't really comment, never met any staff, self check in and just come and go as you please. Location, I don't know Manchester well enough to say, but seemed walking distance to most places and safe at night.

Very quirky ambience running through the hotel. Not bad though. Just different. The room was nice (twin bed room) was well maintained, though on the smaller side. The person that greated us could have done with a coffee or red bull as he bearly said anything to us the checking us in. The rest of the staff were lovely though.

Have to admit my expectations were massively high as it’s was a very reasonably priced room. But it was great. Easy self check in. Large room, clean and comfortable. Coffee/tea / irons/ boards all available in a space on the corridor. No noise, good shower. Excellent

Rooms were clean and fairly spacious. However, the toilet felt like being in a caravan, and the shower design was poor. Water from the shower would flood the entire bathroom as the floor was not sloped towards the drain. There are no fridges in the rooms, so we used the communal one, but unfortunately our food was stolen. The room had an iron and tea/coffee facilities, but the drinks did not tast...
