Very good hostel with friendly and helpful staff. The place was clean and comfortable overall. Breakfast was included, which was a big plus – no need to rush anywhere in the morning. They've rebranded to Malacuna, maybe to try and dodge the mixed reviews. The location is excellent, and the street noise didn't bother me, and there were heaps of power points in the bunks, but it had a few negatives. The floor in my dorm room was pretty filthy, especially the bathroom. There were dust bunnies and obvious dirt marks. The beds are decent and private, but there is no fan in the boxe...

My dorm stayed at 2nd floor that no sound issue and so far was clean and comfortable. That was very good location and reasonable price. However, since dorm that also assigned bed but finally someone slept in my bed when i came back he showed me the key card that also mentioned same bed. After talked with reception, who said i can sleep any bed that vacancy. If so why wrote alphabet onto key card? ...

I had read terrible reviews of this hotel. So I was wary about it. But it was slightly cheaper than the rest. So I went for it. The building is a bit difficult to find. But anyway, the staff were friendly and let us keep our luggage there before our check-in. Went up to my room with wariness and was really scared of how bad it would be.
