Delta Hotels Manchester Airport (solo trip)

Update. Oct 2025 EV charging is useless. No booking system or way to notify when free. Spaces are narrow too. The parking is still terrible - small spaces, too many cars. One 7kw and one 3 Pin plug. Totally pointless as it would take 24 hours+ to charge a small EV fully. Nice room but super noisy. On a main hallway to reception and seems everyone is wanting to have a loud conversation 😞 ———————...

Very nice. Good breakfast. Some may argue pricey at £17 but the quality is excellent. For example, the bacon was thickly sliced and perfectly cooked with very little fat. Someone has made an effort to find good sources. Plenty of options if you want vegan, cereals or fruit. They even have 'proper' Yorkshire tea bags!! Now we're talking!!

The stay at the hotel itself was good, very conveniently located to the airport. However, my Bluetooth speaker was stolen out of the closed off meeting room over night. The hotel staff was helpful and checked CCTV footage but found nobody taking it. Nevertheless, I would have expected a more customer-friendly solution and greater accommodation.

Rooms are of good size but feel outdated especially the furniture. We did like the mattresses and had good night sleep which is key of course. The bath was very narrow and felt tight. The AC unit in one of our connecting rooms was broken. They offered to move us but we needed the connecting rooms because of little children in our party.
