Copthorne Hotel Manchester Salford Quays (couple trip)

Clean, well laid out, good food, friendly and helpful staff. Hairdryer, small fridge, iron and board in room. Tea coffee making facilities in room. Close proximity to trams. Canal looks good at night surrounded by lights. Ample parking. Efficient lifts.

We have just stayed at the Copthorne for 1 night for the Manchester Christmas Markets and we were really impressed by the hotel. The staff are very professional and friendly, the hotel is very clean and the decor is modern and classy. We received a welcome drink voucher on check-in, parking was free! Perfect area for where we needed to stay. Hotel is more 2 /3 star. Definitely not a four star. Due to cobwebs in bedroom. Chair at deck is noughing more than a dangerous place to sit. You sit on it and you fly backwards in to tilt portion. No glasses etc in bathroom though pictures showing them. Generally needs updating. On the positive side the wifi was great. But at over £100 a night. Definitely...

The hotel is undergoing refurbishment so although some elements feel a bit tired they are being addressed. The location is excellent, handy for the tram into central Manchester. The rate we paid was extraordinary value for that location. Room was a little dated but being upgraded so no issues really. It was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good. Would happily stay again and recommend.

The hotel is clean and has a convenient location near the Quays, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The rooms are comfortable and functional. However, the hotel feels a bit dated, and some facilities could use improvement. Service is okay, but not particularly memorable. A decent option for a short stay, but not a standout choice in the area.
