How Kids-Friendly is Opera House Manchester?

71%Kids-Friendly

What makes it 71% Kids-Friendly: Pantomimes, sing-along films and interactive tours target ages 4-12, but many stairs, no lifts and pushchair storage only in foyer reduce comfort; still a fun yet mildly challenging outing for families.

Went to see the musical, Top Hat as a treat for my wife. Loved the show, loved the venue too. Great place. So much more character than the huge arena shows nowadays. I understand the biggest, most popular shows have to be held in large arenas but you can't beat a show in a grand old theatre! Would definitely book another shoe here too... 👍🏽

Seats in the Gallery here at Opera House, even with good accurate warnings, are never going to be luxurious for a 6'1" Northerner of relaxed build. Recent trip to the Fawlty Towers production (utterly outstanding) would bear testament to the challenge very well. Good prep (no trousers other than your 'ok I may now need to shop at M & S' comfort cut jeans) buy end of row seats or you are really goi...
