Travelodge London City Airport (solo trip)

My room was right next to DLR track, it was very noisy until late. There were long black hair all over the bed when I came. There were only USB ports next to the bed, and I could not charge my phone that way. However, it was cheap, so I did not have big expectations. I appreciate a quick check-in.

An ok experience with this hotel , only stayed here for one night due to having an event at the 02. Only a 10 minute walk to DLR station however it’s all along back alleys so at night not very safe. Right next to runway but can barely hear the planes. Easily managed to get an uber to and from the 02. Fantastic hotel for the price. The rooms are always clean and the staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a slight delay in the food but we were given the heads up before ordering so felt well-informed. The staff handled a situation well with an angry guest (despite the issue being no fault of the staff). Kelvin was very helpful and friendly. The location is great and has ample parking.
