The Moorgate by Cove (solo trip)

GREAT location just steps from the Elizabeth line. Door to door from Heathrow at no time at all. Air conditioner worked too well - kept turning it to higher temps despite 30+ degree weather. Very quiet despite location on a busy corner. Two coffee shops on the first floor were an unexpected bonus. Multiple grocery, pub and fast casual options available within two blocks.

I was ready to give this place 5 stars. I booked Moorgate twice — once for June 15th and again for June 19–22. My first stay was great. I booked a large studio and got exactly that. I am giving this a 1 star because of two reasons: 1) the bathroom was not cleaned when I got there. There was urine, used tissue and its appalling that I had to see that coming into my room 2) I complained. I was told to hold on - for 2+ hours, no one called me back to explain or took the courtesy to come check it out. I called back and they still didn’t have any response. So I went to the store...

Five starts for room cleanliness and coziness, helpful staff, and comfy pillows! It was a bit cold in the room and turning the heat setting up didn't really do anything. Hence 4 starts for Room rating. Other than that all perfect!

This was my first time in London and I selected Moorgate by Cove as my accommodation for a week. I know I rated this a 5 stars and it truly was a 5 star experience.
