The Marker Hotel (couple trip)

Hotel is in a great location in central London and the water is hot to take a shower . The hotel and room is well maintained and clean. WiFi works great. However check-in is not until 2 pm although the hotel will allow storage of cases. During the winter, the owners control the heat. If you check in at 2pm, the front desk details heat will not turn on until 7 pm and says don’t worry, it stay...

This isn’t a hotel…. It is a converted 4 level townhouse. Does not have air conditioning. It is rated as three star “hotel” but be warned. Rooms are tiny badly fitting two twin beds. They had us on the top floor - of course no elevator! The room was over 87 deg and the window could only open a crack. Immediately notified our travel agent to relocate. We tried to cool off with a cold shower. But...

This was an awful experience. We booked two rooms and both were on the top floor with no working AC. They claimed that they took it off their list of amenities, but this was AFTER we booked the rooms. Had we been contacted and informed of the situation, we would have just found another room at another hotel. We had to have fans going 24/7 to even stand the room while awake. Good location. Easy check in and we were allowed to.leave our bags there before official check-in time. Our three person room was very small and on the third floor. No lift and a lot of stairs.
