ibis budget London Barking (couple trip)

Avoid if you coming with your vehicle I paid for parking at the hotel reception, yet I was still issued a Parking Charge Notice. I’ve contacted the hotel 10+ times, sent full proof of payment, and was repeatedly assured it would be sorted – but nothing has been resolved. Now, over a year later, I’m still fighting this and being threatened with legal action. Absolutely unacceptable experience.

The staff was very appropriate and kind while the place couldn't get any cleaner! The rooms are unfortunately very small and not well equipped for a longer stay but they're very clean and comfortable. Definitely budget friendly, clean rooms, basic facilities, breakfast was nice, and staff were friendly. Downside to rooms, only 1 main light which was not bright enough for 3 women to get ready in, and only 2 plug sockets in the entire room, none by the bed to charge phones.
