Holiday Inn Express London - Stansted Airport (solo trip)

My partner and I stayed at the hotel on October 22nd and again on the 25th. We had a warm welcome, and the team at the Express Café & Bar was genuinely friendly. Check-in was incredibly fast and easy. The staff were all very friendly, and the room was spacious and spotless. Special thanks to Robel, who went above and beyond to make sure I got to my flight on time truly outstanding customer service. We unexpected were not able to rent a car next store late at night so we unexpectedly had to stay here. We were happy to have got a room at great price. We were hungry. Excellent service from staff here - friendly & helpful. Complimentary breakfast offered a good selection and shuttle bus was prompt (every 30mins for £4 one way). Room was warm and AC ineffective. Corridor also noisy - another family arrived late and the fire doors to each room were slamming on the corridor at 2am. Good stay but felt it was expensive for the quality/condition of the room.

One of the worst stays. The rooms are not well maintained. The bed is uncomfortable, there are stains on the carpets, walls, towels, and linens. Our door malfunctioned and locked us in the room at one point. The airport shuttle isn’t free. The dinner food is way overpriced for what is essentially a re-heated meal.
