Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo (couple trip)

Be aware of this hotel! We had just checked in early and our room was not ready so we waited in the lobby for an hour or so. As we were sitting at one of the tables with our luggages and backpacks there were two well dressed men walking around the lobby. This one is a much nicer location than the London City one I stayed at, but it didn't have a door for the shower. For both, I rate them a 4.5. just enough to round up to a 5. They are newly remodeled and so that makes it nice. Breakfast is better than Hampton in the US, but not near as good as other European hotels.

Just checked out today with a group after attending conference. Location is very good.... 15 minutes away from the south bank of the Thames, 5 min to Waterloo station. Staff are all pleasant and courteous. Full English breakfast buffet everyday and a variety of other choices. Just a couple of issues: 1. Not enough towel hangers in the bathroom 2. This was definitely a 10/10 stay! We had a short break in London over the bank holiday weekend and stayed here for 2 nights.
