Positives:

  • Free entry: Permanent galleries are free, so you can move at your baby’s pace without pressure.
  • Baby facilities: Most toilets have changing units and cafés provide highchairs.

Challenges:

  • Cloakroom lines: Large groups check in items here at opening; expect a short wait.
  • Narrow spaces: Buggy navigation can be tight in historic galleries like the Medieval rooms.

I visited the V&A Museum this weekend and was really impressed how good it is. It is big but so well organised and not too busy and it is free( unless you want to see the exhibitions. They have s lovely cafe as well. From Jewellery, tapestry, Asian, European anything that you can think they have in there. We have spent about 4 hours looking around and didn't get to see it all. It is around the cor...

OMG! Skip all others and go to this museum instead! I loved so much, they are huge with so many different things to see. No tickets are needed and it was not busy. I wished I had skipped the British museum and spent more time here. The art is beautiful and you can spend multiple days just exploring the museum The beauty of this place, I cannot describe! I was simply in love!

Had a great time at the V&A. Lots of works and spaces to walk through, some organized by country, some by era or types of works. I went as soon as they opened on a weekday and it was not too crowded. Was able to walk through some of the exhibits upstairs completely to myself. They also have a beautiful cafe and eating area with an outdoor fountain. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy history.
