Positives:

  • Accessible route: Ramp at Manton entrance and lifts to all floors make stroller access easy.
  • Baby changing: Changing facilities near Djanogly Café and in the Clore Gallery foyer.

Challenges:

  • No dedicated baby sessions: No specific baby play classes; check with Tate for updates.
  • Peak crowding: Galleries can be busy midday on weekends, making navigation with a buggy harder.

Beautiful, eclectic Art selection, everyone should find something for themselves here. Don't miss the Pre-Raphaelite section, but truly every room has something unique to offer. Plenty of places to sit throughout the exhibition. The downside is the cafeteria: always crowded and feels overpriced, especially the snacks. The entry to the general collection is free and no need for free entry booking, ...

I visited Tate Britain yo see the marvellous Lee Miller exhibition. An absolutely amazing exhibition about a very clever and innovative photographer. I highly recommend going to see it if you haven't already. That said, make sure you book in advance. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and it was packed. Everything at Tate Britain is free, except almost all the exhibitions. Do check! As much as I lov...

Tuesday, 6 January 2026 Collection: 5/5 Excellent. It is an encyclopedic collection spanning over 500 years of British art. I love that each room is themed to give a sense of history, dialogue, and curiosity. Service: 5/5 Excellent. Everyone was helpful, polite, and professional. Ambience: 4/5 Very Good. The men's urinals in the basement could benefit from dividers. Cleanliness: 5/5 Excellent....

The gallery is very well laid out, though the signage downstairs could be clearer. One half is organised historically and the other half devoted to major artists. We were there for the Turner and Constable exhibition which was really excellent. The cafe is pricey but the food and coffee were good. There was one gluten free option and one vegan option.

During my visit to London, I was amazed by the beautiful art inside the museum. The paintings were full of color and emotion, and each one told a different story. I loved walking through the quiet halls and seeing artworks by famous British artists. Some paintings looked so real, while others were very creative and modern. The museum was calm and inspiring, and I felt so happy to see such amazing ...
