What makes it 63% Baby-Friendly: Parents with babies get clean feeding and changing rooms in Selfridges and John Lewis, lifts in big stores and stroller-wide pavements, but noise, jostling crowds and no rest areas limit comfort.

Positives:

  • Wide pavements: Easy stroller navigation along the main street.
  • Step-free access: Oxford Circus and Bond Street stations have elevators.

Challenges:

  • Peak-time crowds: Midday and weekends can get very busy and noisy.
  • No playgrounds: No toddler play areas on Oxford Street; use nearby Hyde Park.
