Positives:

  • Free infant lap ride: Children under 2 ride free on a guardian’s lap with a provided life jacket.
  • Pram-friendly main deck: You can roll a full-size pushchair onto the main deck without folding it.

Challenges:

  • Limited indoor seating: Indoor deck seats fill quickly, so you may need to stand during busy times.
  • No prams upstairs: Stairs to the upper deck prevent unfolded pushchairs from being taken upstairs.

The London Eye and the River’s Reflection Long ago, the River Thames flowed quietly through the heart of London, watching the city grow and change. For hundreds of years, it had seen kings and queens, ships full of treasures, and bridges rise and fall. Then, at the turn of the new millennium, the river saw something new being built on its southern bank — something tall, bright, and round. It was...

Came here on an afternoon trip as part of a River Cruise + London Eye package. We had an enjoyable experience. We had a special area for my mum in a wheelchair and we had priority boarding which was helpful. The attraction does get very packed so it's advised to plan ahead for arrival and book tickets in advance.

Great experience. One of the best things to do in London when you visiting. You can see many monuments from a different perspective than is available from land. Plus, there's a guide on the ship who shares stories and interesting facts about the buildings we see. Our guide was Mitch, a great guy. I recommend buying a ticket for the last sunset cruise, with fantastic views.
