Positives:

  • Baby under 5 enters free: Your baby needs no ticket and enjoys full access to the palace and gardens.
  • Step-free access: Staff can guide you via lifts and ramps for easy pushchair routes.
  • On-site baby facilities: Use baby-changing rooms and indoor seating in Stone Hall and Palace Café.

Challenges:

  • No bag-drop service: Bring only essentials as no cloakroom or left-luggage is available.
  • Cobblestone paths: Some outdoor routes are uneven for pushchairs—ask staff for smoother paths.
  • Limited nursing privacy: There is no dedicated nursing room; find quieter corners or ask staff for space.

Visited on my last day in London for a last little cultural detour. It was really lovely, easy to find my way around and the audio guide was perfect. It’s the perfect place to go if you want to see a little history and you don’t have much time (took me approx an hour).

When we got there we were greeted by 4 actors dressed in the correct period attire and singing and continued their roles all through the palace. My wife even got to meet the Queen herself! (Queen Victoria, played by an actress) she absolutely loved it and was nerding out alot lol. Beautiful gardens and palace where Princess Diana lived. Plenty of history and worth a visit.

I had the pleasure of visiting Kensington Palace with my family in the evening, and it was a truly memorable experience. Kensington Palace is one of London’s most elegant historic landmarks, blending royal history with beautifully curated exhibits. Once the childhood home of Queen Victoria and the residence of Princess Diana, the palace holds deep significance in Britain’s royal heritage. Today, i...

I recently visited Kensington Palace and found it a really interesting experience. Walking through the rooms gave me a real sense of history, almost like stepping back in time. The exhibitions were well presented, and it was fascinating to learn about the lives of the royals who lived there. The palace is famous for being the birthplace and childhood home of Queen Victoria, and in more recent his...

Pleasantly surprised! I went here by myself and really enjoyed my visit. I am not a history buff by any means but the guided audio tour made it really interesting walking around the 3 apartments and then the best part was catching one of the guides doing their timed talks about Caroline and her life. He was so engaging and the story was interesting. The gardens were lovely and the cafe delicious. ...
