voco Edinburgh - Royal Terrace (couple trip)

The location is within easy walking distance of major attractions. The rooms are clean and spacious (depending on the type you book and the tiling in the bathroom needs a refresh), but what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional customer service. Brilliant place to stay, felt clean and warm. Daily cleaners to tidy up the room a bit. Would definitely stay again. However I feel for the price we paid we could’ve done with a bigger room but still happy none the less.

My partner and I stayed at the voco Royal for the first time, and it certainly will not be our last. All of the staff were extremely kind, professional, and welcoming. A special mention to Nor at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning

on the 25th of september were not able to checkin since they had some Problems with the room. No problem at all since everythin seemed to be organised for us. We then were transferred to another hotel (all organised by the Voco). By the time we arrived there (30 minutes ride), they had no information that we were comming at all. 🛏️ The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable — perfect for a good night’s rest. The bathroom, however, looked a bit tired and could use some renovation. 🍽️ The restaurant offered friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, but the food was fairly average for the price. Overall, a decent stay and dining experience, though not outstanding.
