Just a wonderful experience. One of our favourite places to stay. The staff are friendly and attentive, the rooms are immaculate, the breakfast is devine, the location is perfect and the overall feel of the Scott is great. I hate telling people about it as I like to think of it as our secret.

Great accommodation place in Edinburgh. I booked a regular room but I was upgraded to the Gatehouse and was even greater. The breakfast is excellent and very large. Walking distance to the historic center (for European walking standards) and just by the conference place I was attending.

The location was spot on: close to Arthur’s Seat and just a quick ride to the Royal Mile and the Castle. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The one downside? No eleva...
