Novotel Edinburgh Centre (solo trip)

Good location within walking distance of Royal Mile. When we got to our room sheets were not clean. Very low rainfall shower, at 1.88 I had to crouch. On several occations water from shower would overflow to the next room. We stayed there at the end of September. Our first time in Edinburgh and it was fantastic. The hotel was a walking distance to the castle, museums and restaurants. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and very professional. Yesica and Magda were awesome at the bar and at breakfast. Kudos to them and the rest of the awesome staff of the Novotel Edinburgh Center!

Hotel is well located around 10-15 min from the royal mile. The family room felt quite small and it felt quite warm. Air con was not working at this time of year and even with windows open it was too warm. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options and space and staff was friendly. The pool was nice and not too crowded when we were there.

Great location for exploring Edinburgh. Close to all major attractions. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. Restaurant staff was attentive. We ate dinner one night in the hotel. Inviting atmosphere in the bar and restaurant and great choices on the dinner menu, Check in/out was easy My room was definitely spacious with great bathroom.

Excellent hotel. We stayed in an executive room after a free upgrade which was dreamy. The rooms were clean and bright, though there's some light staining on some of the carpet. Nothing too bad, probably just needs a refresh. Showers were amazing, and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.
