Hotel Ceilidh-Donia (with baby)

Small friendly hotel close to Arthur's Seat. Excellent bus links to city centre (20 mins). Quality breakfast. Our room was spacious with comfortable bed and a super hot shower. Note that rooms 1 & 18 are situated either side of the front door which can be noisy at night.

I really wanted to love this stay but I was immediately thrown off by the intensely musty/dank smell in our room. It was off putting and gave me a headache. They didn’t have any other rooms to switch us to. Luckily the owner Kevin was super kind and set us up with a fan to get some circulation. Everything was perfect! The breakfast was phenomenal – the Scottish breakfast, porridge, and scrambled eggs were absolutely delicious.
