We were there last year for our anniversary and they pulled out all the stops. Friendly helpful staff. We lost some of our medications and after they couldn’t find it, they gave us 10,000 points as compensation. Truly above and beyond. If we ever come back to Edinburgh, we’ll definitely stay there again!

The service and the location were great. The rooms were nice, and actually nicer than the other hotel we stayed at in Edinburgh (an IHG property on George St.) I would recommend The Double Tree over the other property, as the staff is friendlier and more attentive.

This is not the standard DoubleTree as is in the US. It’s ten times better. The room was small but large enough. The hotel staff was polite and friendly. The tub is just slightly taller than usual, and I'm not a tall person so almost fell a couple times getting out of it.
